Pero Adeniyi who hadn't revealed this before said she donated one of her kidneys to her mother about two years ago when she was in need of it.
The mother of four who couldn't hold back her joy took to her Facebook account where she gave a recount of how she helped saved her mother and how she has been living a very healthy life since then.
"2 years, 2 surgeries, kidneystrong living on one! Thank you Lord! The Ultimate gift... the gift of life. All I can say is thank you Lord. #PROUDLIVINGDONOR #THEBIGASK #THEBIGGIVE #SHAREYOURSPARE #THEGIFTOFLIFE," she wrote.
Pero also put up pictures of herself and her mother while they were at the hospital before and after the operation with family members standing by their side.
